Function of Ladle Shroud
1.To shield the steel from the atmosphere preventing re-oxidation and the formation of non-metallic inclusion;
2.To reduce temperature loss;
3.To direct the steel flow into the tundish without splashing and with the minimum of disturbance to the surface of the steel bath.

Performance Characteristics
Our ladle shroud has the following characteristics:
1.Argon injection structure depending on customer specifications.
2.Oxidation resistant glaze layer to prevent the material oxidation effectively.
3.Standard high quality Al-C materials have high corrosion and thermal shock resistance.
4.Standard high quality Zr-based materials to provide high corrosion resistance at the slag line.
5.The inner layer of carbon-free material guarantees the special requirements of ultra-low carbon steel, silicon steel and clean steel.
